18 SEPT 2024

WASHINGTON, D.C. – At the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute’s 47th Annual Leadership Conference, Vice President Kamala Harris affirmed her commitment to balanced immigration solutions, including both border security and pathways to citizenship for long-settled undocumented immigrants. The two-pronged approach remains popular (66%) among battleground voters, who consistently prefer Harris’s vision to that of Donald Trump. Harris called out his “extremist” plans for mass deportations, highlighting how “massive raids” and “massive detention” would separate hardworking families.
